Ekornes has an ambitious global growth strategy and is about to start a major transformation project aimed at building a more professional and efficient company. Our current FP&A Analyst is moving to another internal role at Ekornes, so we are opening the opportunity for a new person in this position.
The position reports to the VP Business Controlling and has overall responsibility for the budget/forecasting processes in the Ekornes Group and plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and achievement of results for Ekornes' management.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Ownership of the company’s budgeting process, including continuous development and improvement of the process.
- Responsible for rolling forecasts as well as financial and cash flow analyses and projections.
- Contribute to monthly reporting to the group management and the board of the company.
- Perform thorough analyses to assess financial performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement, to provide better insights and support management's decision-making.
- Evaluate, improve, and monitor common KPIs for benchmarking and to promote financial and commercial performance across the company.
- Standardize and enhance analytical and reporting tools and processes.
- Support investor relations and external reporting.
- Various ad-hoc business cases, analyses, financial modeling, and simulations.
Education and Experience:
- Higher education in accounting, economics or finance.
- Experience in a similar role within areas such as business controlling, business analyst, financial modeling, consulting. Recent graduates with strong results and the right mindset are also welcome to apply.
- Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Competence in tools such as Power BI or SAP ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, verbally and in writing.
We are looking for an independent and initiative-rich analyst, who is also a solution-oriented team player with a 'can do!' attitude.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities that support data-driven decision-making and works structured and purposefully with a high level of precision to identify drivers and opportunities for performance improvement and value creation. You also have business understanding and the ability to familiarize yourself with Ekornes' value chain and challenges.
You communicate well with all types of people and are capable of building strong relationships, influencing decisions, and triggering engagement across cultures. Experience with international work and interdisciplinary teams is an advantage.

The position is located in Sykkylven or Oslo.
