Project Manager Major Projects
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Project Manager Major Projects to lead complex, cross-functional change initiatives at Ekornes. As Project Manager – Major Projects, you will take full ownership of large-scale, business-critical initiatives across our manufacturing and logistics network. From footprint optimisation and site consolidation to strategic technical investments, you will lead project teams through the full cycle – from early analysis and business case development to implementation and benefit realisation. You will also oversee a portfolio of initiatives at different stages, acting as a key driver of transformation in our operations and supply chain.

- Manage a portfolio of large and complex projects across regions, departments and functions
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop robust business cases, including cost/benefit and risk analysis
- Lead the execution of footprint optimization projects such as warehouse consolidation, production site optimizations, or major process improvements
- Ensure project delivery on time, within scope and budget, while realising defined business outcomes
- Proactively manage risks, anticipate roadblocks, and implement contingency plans
- Secure alignment with key stakeholders across operations, supply chain, commercial, strategy and finance
- Share best practices and contribute to building a more integrated, data-driven and agile project culture
We are seeking an analytical and driven project leader with a proven ability to navigate complexity and deliver change. You are confident working across teams, cultures and geographies, and thrive when given both strategic responsibility and hands-on ownership. You may come from management consulting, industrial transformation, or a similar environment – and are now ready to lead from the inside.
You will report to the Director Operational Excellence and collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, commercial, strategy and finance. The role operates at level 3 in the organisational structure and is responsible for delivering projects with high impact and visibility across Ekornes’ industrial footprint.
The role is based in Oslo or Sykkylven, Norway.
