Ekornes

As an extension of the internationally popular Stressless® line, the Stressless® Sunrise recliner will join the 14 other Stressless® recliner designs.   As with all of Ekornes Stressless® recliners, the Sunrise is available in two sizes.  Ekornes has been producing Stressless® recliners in various sizes since 1996, taking into account that people with different builds need to have different chair sizes in order to sit comfortably.

A second Stressless® recliner is also being introduced:  The Stressless® Vision.   The Vision is a design match to the Stressless® Dream (M) and Stressless® Spirit (L).   The Vision is the smallest version of the three and is perfect for those of a smaller stature.   Since its introduction in April 2005, the Spirit and Dream, along with the matching Paradise sofas, have been the most popular Stressless® seating group.

Two new Ekornes Collection sofa groups are also debuting this January:   The Ekornes Oslo 2008 is an updated version of the Oslo seating group, featuring a tighter cushion look and feel, and the Ekornes Classic is a new addition to the Collection line.  The Ekornes Collection is comprised of fixed-back sofas, as opposed to the reclining Stressless® line.  Both the Oslo and Classic feature gently curving wooden arms which give the sofas a contemporary look.   The cushions on the Classic are smooth with very clean lines; the Oslo cushions are gently tufted in a horizontal mid-point across the back and seat cushions.

Ekornes has long been known for the comfort and functionality of its home furnishings.  The new Oval Ottoman is a demonstration of those traits.   The Oval Ottoman comes with a removable top cushion so that it can be used as either an ottoman or a coffee table.  It also includes a bottom shelf for handy storage.
